Gone but not forgotten. The Cuchara Country Music Fest lived for four fantastic seasons and continues to live on in our hearts. Bringing some of Nashville's finest country music performers o perform for us has left us with priceless memories.Highlights
Cuchara County is a small mountain town located in southern Colorado by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The town is full of scenic views and mountain life and surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest.
Never short of things to do with a variety of rivers, golf courses and scenic views, it is fun for the entire family.
One of the best festivals for country music Colorado has seen. Check out some highlights from the second year the Cuchara Country Music Festival was held. Headliners for the festival this year included Charley Jenkins, Due West and Ty Herndon.
What could be better than taking in the views while visiting a great country music festival.
Amazing performers have filled up the stage over the past 4 years.
Great times and great friends is just one of the things that makes the Music Festival so special...
Talk about great memories. This video of the music festival from Youtube is a great collection of pictures of the town and the event.
Love the music selection used for the video. Love me some Due West. Song is called Wake up the Neighbors.
First year of the music with some great Nashville acts performing for us in Colorado. Who has been your favorite performer through the years. Mine of course has been country music artist Ty Herndon!
What amazing times we have enjoyed through the years. Nice to see this video of the first festival.
Some amazing times have been enjoyed by all at the scenic Cuchara County Music Fest. We will miss it so much but have so enjouyed all of the country music artists through the years.
Enjoy this video to bring back some great memories and relive some of the great performances from the third annual festival.
I grew up loving country music but have always lived west of the Mississippi in smaller towns so never had the opportunity to see many of my favorite Country Music stars perform. When I first learned of the Cuchara County Country Music Fest back in 2012 I was head over heels with excitment. What is not to love about a festival. We are talking good friends, great eat and drinks (thanks to locals Dog Bar and Grill, Brewed Awakening and The Timbers Restaurant) and of course some good, honest country music. What could make for a better weekend.
Over the next four years we had some fantastic country musicians come through the festival every June. From Charley Jenkins to Ty Herndon and it was always the highlight of my summer. Although we will no longer get to enjoy the music, we will always have the memories and I wanted to put together this site together to share some fantastic times with others. I hope you enjoy and if you have other pictures, videos or stories you would like to share, give me a yell.
